CD changer player plays cds slow

CD changer player plays cds slow
I tried out my cd changer for the first time last night & it seems to have an issue where it plays the cds at a slightly slower tempo... I assume this is some issue with the spinning of the CD?
The single cd drive in dash works fine. Just the CD changer in the front compartment. Has anyone heard of these being repaired? Are they easy to get out if so?
