AX Pressures for Pilot Sport Cup 2's

Replacing Pilot Sports with Pilot Sport Cup 2's on my 997.2 GTS Coupe.

For AX, and the Pilot Sports, my ideal pressures seem to be 36F and 40R. What should I expect out of the Cup 2's for idea pressures?

Any guesses as to how much time I should save with the Cup 2's (PCA NER Devan Airfield - average 75s course for class 8s).

I don’t have any experience with Sport Cups but the tire pressures are probably something you’ll just have to experiment with. It’s all personal preference. I would suggest starting at your 36/40 setting and drop the pressures in your tires each run until you feel the grip improve.

I have Pilot Super Sports and I autocross at 28F/32R. My only complaint about the PSSs are that although the soft sidewall is great for ride comfort on the road, they really buckle under cornering in AX.

I'm not new to AX but I consider myself relatively new to piloting a 911 around an AX course. When I was first starting out last season I had my pressures up around the mid-30s but still understeered quite a bit. Someone on the grid suggested I drop my pressures and when I did I could immediately feel the grip level come up and I improved my next run by 2 seconds.
