Anyone has Bilstein B8's? On C4S?

Been shopping around.... Dang, I think I missed a sale that ended last night.

Anyways, does anyone have the Bilstein B8's? These, I guess, need lowering springs. Which springs did you guys buy.

Btw, does anyone have it on their C4S? I understand the C4S is a little lower already so I am concerned about ending up being too low.

Here are the spec's that I found searching and surfing the Web last night:

B6/B8

FRONT

Free Length: 19.35/18.7
Compressed Length: 13.35/13.39
Compression Valving: 58/60
Rebound Valving: 150/126

Rear
Free Length: 21.73/21.14
Compressed Length: 15.96/15.96
Compression Valving: 96/96
Rebound Valving: 147/147

+1,
Would love to know if anyone used B6 or B8 Shocks and how they compare to stock (softer/harder)

Hi guys, has anyone ever had any experience with Bilstein B8?
I got non PASM shocks and would like to soften them a tad. Roads are rough around me.
Can anyone recommend anything? I don't want to lower the car, just soften a tad.

Any info would be appreciated

This thread is pretty old, relatively speaking, and no ones has responded.

If my memory still serves me well, the B8 would be harder than the B6 since B8's travel would be shorter.

Have you tried posting the same question on Rennlist? :)

Yes, looking for info there as well and no luck yet.

The B8 will be a stiffer shock than OE. It is great for cars with sport suspension or lowering springs as it has adjustable rebound. That adjustability can allow you to fine tune your suspension to your liking. But remember, its valved for stiffer springs. The B6 is going to be more like your factory sport suspension dampers. It's valved for stiffer suspension, honestly not much different than the B8 in terms of its valving, but it lacks adjustable rebound.

If you are interested in either of these, we are currently running a promo on them.

And the B8 (which is shorter) was also meant for aftermarket lowering springs, correct?

What is the effect of using B8 with factory springs? I am just curious about this.
