Tire wear experience/data for Cup 2's
 

Recently put new Michelin Cup 2's on my 2011 GTS.
The new tires have been through 4 dual driver AX events (1 mile course, perhaps 8 average runs per event, times two drivers).

The tread depth is now reading 0.180" (5.8/32")which is about 1/16" over the wear bars. I did not measure the depth new, but the tire spec says 7.2/32". So, this would represent about 20% wear from new.

Generally, wear is even and clean. I have the alignment setup with roughly -2.5deg camber for AX events.

The wear seems reasonable to me, but I thought I'd post this to see if anyone has relevant comments.

There is minimal other mileage than the AX events.
