Gundo Hack in Honolulu

Aloha my friends / Hello my friends
I want to add gundo/fister exhaust to my car, but don't know if anyone in Hawaii doing this job. Please chime in and give me some direction.
Mahalo (Thank you)

I had the same problem in S. Florida. Someone suggested I go straight to Fister, which I did (www.fdmotorsports.com). A pair of their hacked mufflers is only $295, plus shipping and my old mufflers. All in, with shipping between L.A. and Miami both ways (i.e., the new mufflers and my cores returned) is $415. That's based on $60 shipping each way.

I asked for a shipping quote, and got an email response within minutes. I'm sure it costs more to ship anything to Hawaii, but this might still be a good option for you. There is also an active thread in the For Sale/Wanted section of this site that has a couple of people offering their Fister mufflers for around $300, including shipping (which could easily be modified for shipment to Hawaii.

Good luck!

I need to correct the website address. It ends in ".org."

I was in the same boat as you. Not sure who to take it to in Honolulu, or more like, who to trust. So, I just went with fdmotorsport, the maker of Fister Exhaust. Their workmanship was second to none, plus I had it ceramic coated in chrome to reduce heat. Just go with Fister. It may cost more due to shipping, but you won't regret it.

Gotgolf, I was able to get the Gundo hack recently. Check out my thread, cleverly named, "Gundo hack in S. Florida." I wrote up the process of finding a muffler shop and getting it done easily. Fister is still a good option, but this was faster, cheaper, and at least as good.
