O2 sensor replacement co$t

06 C4, 28K, CEL on, OBD says sensor left bank, don't know if its the front or back.
My Indie will look at it Monday and advise but he does all highend cars. He got to me a little bit on last repair but he is only one within an hours drive and the other one is the dealer
Estimated cost for O2 sensor replacement and resetting CEL???
it just passed CA smog 30 days before CEL..ADVISE PLEASE

I cant speak to how much a dealer/indy charges for this repair... But I can comment on the time it takes to remove either one on the left bank, and that was 20 minutes to a half hour r&r if that helps you any. I would suspect all data would call for an hours shop time.

You may want to go onto suncoast or pelican parts to see what they sell the part(s) for to gather your guesstimated costs.

Right side involves removing the airbox in order to unplug/plug 02 sensor, thus adding shop time.... ~.25-.5 hours r&r.

Resetting the dash light is 5 minutes time with Durametric cable.

Good luck.

Curious. I paid $200 each when they were done by a shop.

really easy to switch out

You won't need to remove any of the exhaust component.

is it is the driver side you probably won't even need to remove the air box.

you don't need a durametric. Reset the code using an ODBII reader. They are like $10
