Opinion: What finish of wheels would you do for my 997.2?

Hey guys!
Looking at getting my HRE P40s refinished, and torn between which finish to go with. What would you guys do? Thanks!

Here were my choices i was thinking of:
1. White
2. Candy Red
3. Black

I think that anthracite wheels would look fantastic on your car.

Yep, go with anthracite or whatever they call the finish on the 991 GT3 wheels.

+1 on Anthracite. TheLex's reference photo is spot on. Allows the eye to pick up more detail on the wheel and visually separates the wheel from the tires.

In my opinion, strongly colored wheels look best on a car with other accents/stripes of the same color. For example, the GTS-RS in this photo is one of the most beautiful color combos I've seen. I don't think red wheels alone would look nearly as good, plus you'd loose the contrast against the red calipers. Just think of how the calipers would pop with anthracite though!

Gunmetal or Anthracite. DON'T do black wheels. That has been soooo over done, IMO.

I'm trying to make the same decision with my white C4S Cabrio. I've narrowed down to antracite or gloss back with a color matching white lip. If you do black I think the contrasting lip is a must since it separates the tire from the wheel. Black looks very good on a white 911.

I'd probably lean towards Anthracite/Gunmetal like others have mentioned, gives you a good low key but aggressive look- makes the calipers AND the interior pop since you get the contrast. Also doesn't hide the wheel detail like a black finish would normally. Below is sort of what I picture for the color scheme (991 content, but just a little imagination haha)

Of course, a shiny new set of ADV.1s are never a bad idea LOL!

I really like HRE's dark brushed clear finish, but I'm biased as I have a set of P101's arriving later this month in the finish.

Wow... Those HREs looks fantastic.

I went with BBS wheels in anthracite for my winter wheels. I like the way they look.

I will take better pictures when I get a chance. Initially, I was a little apprehensive about using red wheels, but I all get is compliments. It must be the red interior/wheels combo.
