Here we have film applied to the bumper in one piece without the joining of an extra pc on the lower lip of bumper as many pre-cuts have.

Film is tucked away from sight so that it is difficult to tell that there is film on there even from the pros trained eyes.

Sam:

I know you do great work and when my car arrives you are my first choice.

I still have one concern. I do not see how the film can take a wax and or polish to achieve a deep rich look like the paint would without the film. Meanining even if seemless would the car ever have an equal look to an unwrapped car as far as deepness and shine etc.?

Thanks.

996toomey,
in my opinion, the film is act as a bra and should look like a bra, except it's clear which to certain degree that's good. i could wrap the whole car but i decided not to. i choose to cover the area where i know will get hit but area like rear bumper etc., i just left alone. i had a long thought before making the decision but at the end car is car what's the point of wrapping the whole thing. trust me, those rocks will find their ways no matter what. the whole idea for me to do the bra is because i know i want to protect where i know for sure is going to get hit, not the whole car.

with the aero film u're very close. i like that but it's never a paint, though it's a bra that protects the paint. have to get the right idea acrossed.

I think any bra even clear is like slip covers. I looked at my friends orange Lambo on Sunday and he has it, it looks bad no matter how good the installer is....let the car get chips and when needed shoot the bumper and hood if you so desire..

The problem comes when it's time to sell. It's harder to convince someone that you painted only because of stone chips and not because it was in an accident.

If it looks bad, then it's likely because it has 3M Scotchgard or equivalent on there. The orange peel texture really brings the film out. In addition, installation quality determines how visible it is. Perhaps, you have not seen a professionally installed clear bra.........which is likely the case for most.

Hey, Thanks Arling, Mel, and Sam... Yes, 3M Aero is no longer a secret. Aero is only available for purchase thru sub-direct company like the one in Texas (forgot the company name), which can purchase Aero direct from 3M manufacturer. EDL is 1 of 3 (iko)companies can purchase Aero direct from manufacturer. We do not re-sell these films to others, for EDL use only.

I recently called a friend and sadly found out hes no longer in the clear protection business for the past 4 months. He sold his business to the company that was mentioned on this on this thread. That company can purchase Aero but not direct manufacture, I hear hes a great guy and dedicated to the industry, Ill be in contact with him soon. Sam and like many other guys in the clear protection business around the nation (but mainly West Coast), where I keep a close/tight network with. We are the few that are dedicated to quality and customer service. Keep up the great work guys!
