Top gear's Jeremy Clarkson is out!!

It sucks because even tough he referred to the 911 as a "bettle" he made me laugh and I loved the show!!

Love the show but definitely he tried to be the super star. I think the glory finally got into his ego and bit him hard.

I found him to be "corny".

Still, it would be a setback for the show.

Heck, if they found a person to better play James Bond, they can find one to replace him. :)

Well... I for one will not be watching the show w/o Mr. Clarkson. The chemistry between Clarkson, May and Hammon will never be duplicated. A great example of this is the US version of the show, I personally don't enjoy the US version.

Clarkson was indeed a loose cannon but...

Oh well, all the best to Mr. Clarkson.

I agree completely. Clarkson's humor was priceless, and the void will certainly not be filled by James May. Richard Hammond lacks the intellectual prowess to keep things interesting. Woe is me. I'll miss him.

We once had a very smart young executive who made a lot money for the company. I mean a lot! He was sweet in front of management but super nasty to his colleagues and subordinates.

After the 2nd chance, he was finally let go.

Clarkson's history reminded me of the above. I salute the companies who have respect all employees and not just the superstars.

Good riddance!

Clarkson was very funny. But if he slugs someone, he's gotta go. There should be no tolerance for that at all.

Looks like the crew is still working together outside of TV.

The guy was a rude A-Hole, plus Top Gear was getting too ridiculous with these challenges & gadgets. I prefer Fifth Gear, that show is all driving no nonsense, also Chris Harris is another one of my Favs

I'm with you on Fifth gear, I don't watch Top Gear for their car reviews, I watched it for the entertainment, they are a bunch of comedians. JC is still working for BBC just not on Top Gear.

indeed, it was the Three Stooges in supercars, I did quite a bit enjoy their show, as far as Jeremy being an ass, agreed, which it was kind of the appeal, lol, he sometimes said the things we wished we could but don't because we are decent human beings.

Aaah.... But that's where and how we separate decency, discretion, professionalism and respect. There's always a place and time for everything.

If he were my child, I would probably disown him for his actions represent his associates. And i would not be known to be associated with him. :)

Word on the street is clarkson has already been made an offer he can't refuse by Netflix....lots of money and are you ready for this....NO censoring which he always hated with BBC

Top gear UK is over as far as I'm concerned....like other posters here said the chemistry on camera can't be substituted. Supposedly top gear generates bbc hundreds of millions of pounds a year, and is the second highest rated show on their network worldwide....to bad the producer is a wussy and couldn't sort out his issues with clarkson on the sideline. A great series has been lost.
