IX XI is on a distinguished road
This is a great setup and after much research, I've decided to get the FVD setup.

Are you running the stock mufflers? If so, do you plan to add the FVD mufflers at any point?

How does the system sound?

Stock PSE muffler, no plan of upgrade. Rarely drives with windows down but with Sport mode on the sound is irresistibly addictive. Not obnoxiously loud more of a civilized sports car sound.

Rhonda@FVD, can you explain the significant difference between the 3 offering below:

1. Are they all made in Germany ?
2. Are they all use T-316 Stainless steel ?
3. Do they all have the same size primary runners ?
4. What is the inside diameter of the primary runners for each one ?
5. What is the warranty period of these headers ?
6. Do they all have similar performance gain ?
7. Do all 3 sound the same ?

Lowbee,

I will be happy to assist with that information. Tphan actually got our part # BES 997 192 00S which is our motorsports style headers with 200 cell sport cats for the PSE mufflers.

Please look at the U.S. site which only shows 2 options, 210 111 997 and FVD 210 111 997. The BES 997 110 00S is made by another manufacturer that we don’t use in the U.S.

1. 210 111 997 and FVD 210 111 997 are both made in German
2. 210 111 997 is T316 and FVD 210 111 997 is T304
3. No, 210 111 997 has larger 1.77” primaries with a 2.5” collector
4. I don’t have the inside diamete
5. Both are 2 year warranties
6. The gains are really dependent upon what other modifications are done on the car. If you let me know what you have done I can give you more specific info.
7. The sound is very similar, the motorsports style headers are a bit more aggressive in sound due to the increase in mass / velocity of exhaust gas.

Here is a link to our site for more information. We have a new website and are in the process of updating many parts so I apologize for the lack of information.
