My Nov build S cab is designated as order confirmed, and the dealer assumes it will be designated plant production this weekend. Is production usually a 3 week time frame? I understand it will be 2 weeks into production before a VIN is assigned. Any thoughts as to on vessel by months end?

 

My 2 cars that I ordered from Porsche over the last 5 yrs ...once they went into production. I was amazed at how fast it goes at the actual plant to build them. Then about 3 weeks on the boat. 4 to 6 week venture total time and you have the car. In, '99 My Boxster had a 10 month wait b4 it went into production, that was a sooo PAINFUL...goodluck on yours

 

Thanks V, I've never ordered a P car before. Wasn't too worried about the time frame in Aug...but now I'm getting itchy. Always have been an instant gratification type. At least I'm still driving thr 996.

 

my 997 cab with a late feb 05 build date did not get to chicago until april 12.

 

Damn! Is atlas and blue a semi jinx? Hope not...hehe
