Cracked undercarriage panel cover, driver's side. what's there? Part #?
 

So I had a senior moment... Was changing the oil, put the car on Jackpoint Jackstands... when it was time to remove the jack stand on the front driver's side, i lifted via jack, moved the jack stand a foot over to the right, took a phone call, then proceeded to lower the front driver side, not remembering that I still had the jack stand there... heard a terrible cracking sound, jacked it back up, pulled the jack stand out, then saw an outline crack of the jack stand top. (see attached pics)

Few questions:
1) What's underneath the driver side? the crack is about a foot to the right (if you're facing the driver's door) from the jack point. Not sure if i damaged anything important, or it may just the plastic panel affected.

2) Anyone know the part number of that plastic panel?

3) Any issues driving it with a crack underneath? wondering if the wind at high speeds will make things worse...

Kidding aside, it should be fine. Won't cause issues with aerodynamics. If it were mine, i'd leave it alone

Take it off and epoxy it. Job done.

Thanks for he quick responses guys. Just concerned I bent or damaged what the cover is protecting. Is it just the exhaust pipes?

There are no exhaust pipes :) - look under the back end of the car...that's all there is for the exhaust system - not covered.

It is not clear where the panel is where the damage is in relationship the panel but there are some pretty important things under the panels. My advice would be to remove the panel and inspect for any damage. Just to be sure.

For the panel when you have it off you can epoxy as someone suggested or -- whispering: use some duct tape on the hidden side of the panel to keep the loose piece from possibly flapping in the wind. I used duct tape to hold a damaged wheel well liner in place to where it connects/joins with the front bumper of my Boxster for a couple of years.
