11.5 NB wheel fitment

I am currently looking at wheels that are 11.5 in. in the rear with a 52 offset. The issue is that I am hesitant to buy them because my car is sitting right on the tire if not tucking a little tire in the rear and am worried about rubbing issues. Does any one have experience with this size and offset ?

Pics of the wheels on another vehicle that's not as low as mine

I have a NB with 19x11.5 Champion wheels on back with a +62 offset. I'm not so sure they would fit if I added a 10mm spacer because they're pretty flush to the fender as they sit now but just slightly tuck under the lip, which is helped by a moderately aggressive camber set in back too @ -1.6. My car is lowered on Eibachs and the tires are MPSS 295's which IMO are stretched a little too much on 11.5's so once I run them down I'll be switching to 305's and I bet they'll really be sitting at the edge of the fender lip then.

This doesnt completely answer your question but I am running 19x8.5 +36
19x11 +42, zero issues. 295 in the rear as well.

brabuse430, you have a wide body car, right? There's no way you're running a +42 offset wheel on a NB.

I'm running 19X11 BBS CHRs with a 56mm offset on my C2 and they definitely fill the wheel wells.

Those are 295s and 305s would have been too much. It's a stretch to try and put 11s under a C2 so the offset is crucial and I believe that 11.5s would probably extend past the upper fender lip. Not a good effect in my book.

I have a C2S, so yes I am running it. No rubbing. I'd take a picture of the stickers inside the barrel to prove it, but that would require me taking the wheels off haha.

2006 C2S, no spacers.
Front 19x8.5 +36 w/ 235/35/19
Rear 19x11 +42 w/305/30/19

Tires are Hankook Ventus V12 Evo.

No Rubbing.

Sorry but I won't believe it unless I see it

You're saying that you're running extra low offset wide body wheels on a NB, both the front and rear shouldn't fit and you'd be the first person to make that happen somehow.

That front size would be like adding a 21mm spacer and increasing the front wheel width by 0.5" too.

And the rear size you say you have, are you sure it's not a +52? That would fit, but only just barely. Ive seen a NB with a +42 wheel on the back before. The wheel company sent the wrong one. It stuck out way past the fender lip. Looked like the car needed to be jacked up and taken off road mudding!

The only reason I know this is because there is a sticker on the barrel and I emailed the specs to myself the last time I had the wheels off. I can confirm that a lot of people run Work Meister wheels, and either go 11" lower offset or 11.5" with a 50-something offset. They all work.

No offense, but I just think the forum gets into peoples heads and too many people only believe what they read. I can confirm this set up works and per my pic there is no sticking out. You're more than welcome to come check it out in person if you'd like.
