DIY clutch switch jump

http://rennlist.com/forums/attachmen...1218285606.png First pic shows jumped wires after pulling clips off the switch. pics shows the two clips jumped with a piece of wire with male clip ends. If you don t have the male ends on a wire you can just push the wire into the clips. Second pic show the switch (White) with the wires off. So maybe practice (No tools needed) and keep a piece of wire in the glove box so you don t need a tow if the switch goes (which apparently they do a lot). The "Hold the key for 30 second" trick didn t work for me in attempt to over ride switch. I read it would work (but not for me). And to replace the switch you ll need a 10 MM wrench to take the switch off it s mount. Hope this helps in a time of need. |
