Drove a 997 S and loved it, but need help
On Sunday this past weekend I was at the Texas 3000GT and Steath meet for 2005. We were parked outside a gas station waiting for some others to catch up when a guy in a week old 997 Carrera S pulled up. Black car with the Aero package. Nice.
I talked to him for a while and he came over and spoke to a few others in our group. I forgot his name, but an incredibly nice guy. He offered to let me drive his car after we had talked for a while. I don't exactly get opportunities like that all that often, so of course I accepted.
Fabulous car, drove great. I'd driven a 996 GT3 before and this was a much better daily vehicle. Tons of fun. I was raving about it when I got out. Way more car than this driver is used to handling. Althought the seat to steering wheel interface wasn't quite up to par with the quality of the vehicle, the owner was cool.
Unfortunately when I got out of the car, I left my digital camera in the center console indention towards the back. I didn't really get enough info from him to be able to find and contact, so I was hoping that maybe he posts on 6speedonline.
I saw him on Highway 620 in Austin, Texas about 2 miles away from the 620 and highway 183 intersection. If anyone knows a guy in this area with a car that fits that description, please have him contact me. It would be greatly appreciated.
