Nice! The ring looks pretty scary at those speeds in the wet!

Didn't realise they took that much of a detour in races... I didnt recognise the track at all for the first minute or so then

Detour? What do you mean?
I did a few endurance races at the N'ring last year and this year (including the 24h-race),. We generally drove half of the F1 track (Kurzanbindung) before entering the Nordschleife. At this year 24h-race, we did the whole F1 track, except for the 'Mercedes Arena'.
