End of 2006 is when my lease ends on my 987 (thank god)
Love the car but this time i wanna get my 'dream car.'

I am planning on a 911S since it about in my price range, the gt3 is only two seater and the turbo is kinda high in price.

But i know that Toyota, audi, aston martin, maserati are coming out with some really nice prospects as well.

I wonder if im going to get bored with the looks of the 911 after 12 monthes of restlessly searching the net for different pics deciding what color i should get.

I know the 911 is the drivers car but i wonder if i dare say it buy another car other then Porsche come time to buy another car.

What does Toyota have coming out ? Nothing as far as I know. The AM will be about $110K-$120K almost 997 TT $, and Maserati haven't heard of anything impressive upcoming.

I recently sold a 2004 Maserati Cambio Corsa Spyder. Try one you might like it. World class quality,. Ferrari designed engine (390) HP, and paddle shifter. More compliments on that car than any other vehicle I have ever owned. Not the agility of a Porsche though. Great experience!

911 is probably the only car out there that has a timeless look. Give me a 10 years old 993 right now and I will be as happy to drive it as my 997S. I cannot think of another brand (except maybe Ferrari) that can do the same for me.
Go for the 997 and never look back! Good Luck.

To think that IK have oggled the 911 in some form or another for the past 20 years and to think that the look isn't timeless kinda makes me wonder if this is more a question of whether exclusivity is more important to you than timelessness. In no way is that a dig. I know that I would think long and hard about throwing down the cash for anything remotely in that price range (where I even capable), and I certainly recognize that this is coming from a kid that loved Porsche everything (well maybe except for the 914) so my opinioonis certainly slanted. Regardless best of luck in your decision. For the money though, I think the new 997 is unbelievable. Looks, power, style, and the overwhelming understanding that it's Porsche.
