Hardwiring a V1 in the 997

Hi everyone,

I would like to hardwire my Valentine One into a 997 cab and was wondering whether anyone had determined if there are is a switched power lead going to the universal garage door opener located at the top of the windshield. Any help or advice you can offer would be appreciated, thanks!

Ernie

I hardwired my V1 into a 997 C4 coupe, but I didn't want to try the wire attachment kit. I hardwired it directly into the fusebox in an empty slot, but unfortunately I couldn't find one that was switched. Just have to remember never to leave the V1 on when I get out of the car.
