Side Decals Installed - Matt Black on Black 997.2

Recently installed side decals from http://carreradecals.com
No affiliation; very good quality product, and very happy with the results.

I ordered matt black, which is very subtle and almost invisible under certain lighting conditions, but has a great effect when the light hits it right.

I installed them over new OEM clear stone guards, that I put on several weeks ago.

How does it work going over the stone guards? did you cut it into a separate piece or just get it as close to the edge as possible? I would think there would be a gap where it starts to go onto the stone guards layer.

If you take a close look at the 3rd pic in my post, you'll see that the decal is simply pushed firmly into the edge where it meets the stone guard. As the decal has a little bit of flex to it you can press it tightly into the edge.

The side stripes came out great and like the proportion of the lettering on the classic 3 stripes version you installed on a 997.2 -- what height did you purchase? They come in either 3, 3.5, or 4 inches tall. Thanks
