The brackets solution should work, the strap is way too primitive.

Any input still is appreciated.

Call Dave Martin at Wheel Enhancement - he may have suggestions...maybe drill out the opening?? Did you buy new or used?

Bought used, previous owner had the 3.5" lips replaced new by HRE, his 911 was pre-2007 maybe that's why the valve stem holes are different than the front. The brackets should work with bolt-on 6 mm stems, i will call WE tomorrow.

Thank for the help.

Thank you but that won't work, TPMS positioned too close to outer bead.

Dave Martin gave 3 options:

1. Enlarge the 6mm valve stem hole
2. Ship wheels to HRE
3. TPMS strap (last resort)

Apparently these wheels are C93 produced before TPMS was mandate...it is odd that the fronts are but not rear.

Update

called couple wheel repair shop, first one don't modify wheel due to liability, second shop estimate $85.00 per wheel (as soon they asked what type of car i know it's cha-ching time).

After some research I decided to do the job myself. With a carbide step drill bit and lot of patience, for $19.95 + 1 hour I did an awesome job.

The bit is bad ***...super clean cut.

Can't wait to get these mounted.

Thank everyone...

Jose911 is infamous around these parts
I want to see how they look on your car as I too. I feel those wheels look great as well.

got the HREs mounted to tires, the TMPS sat flushed once torque to spec. Wheels are on the car now, no sign of pressure drop in last 4 days. Offset is perfect, rear wheel has 5mm clearance between brake caliper and wheel, that should be fine.

Hope to get some picture this weekend. Can't wait to see what 40 lbs less of unsprung weight do.
