Now here's a bump on the road. The guy that was doing the paint got deported so some random guy at the shop ended up painting wing which came out preety bad. He installed the wing completely wrong. He also didnt want to install the front lip although work has already been paid for.

So Now I have a wing that needs Adjusting and a lip that needs to be installed. Only one guy I trust with these sort of things. @detailmasterllc Danny Mandu. Guy does detailing in CT and honestly the best around. Danny saved me, sleeping at night now knowing my car is where it should be. I wouldent trust anyone else touching my Porsche. Thanky You Danny!

i would go back to your factory lip. the new one doesnt fit at all.

gt2rsobsessed 02-19-2017 11:17 PM

Is that a gt3tek front lip? I think it looks pretty good.

phily911 03-01-2017 05:45 AM

You HAVE to lower it asap and get new wheels. I lowered my 997.2 the first day then did the GT3 front bumper (Porsceh Cup Car) and added the OEM wing. Still debating what to do with the rear bumper and have a set of custom forged wheels on order.

Was..

Very nice. Well done.

juank20 03-01-2017 07:28 AM

i'm liking the progress. I think some black wheels and a drop will compliment the lip more

Tarek307 03-02-2017 01:23 AM

Nice work, in my own personal opinion, with that big spoiler you need a GT3 full front bumper & possibly side skirts & Definitely lower it on H&R springs to balance the look out- HOWEVER it still looks good now

tphan 03-06-2017 04:21 PM

work in progress...when it's done, you could had bought a 997.1 Turbo.;)

I believed it's a GT3TEK lip for the 997.2. The installer probably didn't lined up flush ?
