Problem: GT3TEK Spoilers
I also ordered a front lip through their $250 deal on Aug 7th. I was informed they sold quite a few and they would take longer than expected to ship. Last week, 9/7, I asked for an update and ETA, to which I have still not received a response.
I haven't raised any concerns because others on this site, and Rennlist, have purchased from them before with a good experience. But communication isn't great, as I'm finding out.
I'll wait another week or two and if I haven't heard anything I'll reach out to Chuck for help.

Took a while due to "back-up" in manufacturing.
But they said they will ship out the spoiler lip when I called them last week.
Received it in couple of days after the phone call.
I will pm u the number in case u don't have it.
OP, they are slow with response, if at all. But I have not heard of them scamming anyone yet. Good luck
I've bought many parts from GT3 TEK over the years and they are a stand up company & their products are excellent quality - It sounds like you are a nightmare customer, you did the order, they are running behind, so what? you go and want an immediate refund...ok they are giving it to you, but you try to RUIN their rep online instead of being a gentleman about the ordeal and dealing with it logicall...HOWEVER THEY HAVE SUCH A GOOOD REPUTATION THAT YOU END UP GETTING LACED BY THE COMMUNITY LOL

I'm sorry, but Astur is not in the wrong here. His message simply chronologically dates the experience he had with this vendor, and 6 weeks for no product, no refund, and sparse communication is just plain unacceptable. If the vendor is going to do business through an online medium, which they've obviously chosen to do as a Board Sponsor here, then they need to be much more responsive to order inquiries processed via this same medium, namely email communication.
If the posted chronology is accurate (and I didn't see in their response here that they contested that aspect), then it should not have taken them 1 week to respond to an email and then 2 more weeks to respond to the next one. If I were the one purchasing from them, I would expect a response next business day, or at a maximum 48 hours. In today's world where everyone carries a smartphone and information is immediately accessible, these response times from a vendor who is also a board sponsor, are just unacceptable.
What actually would have prevented this whole situation and Astur's post is if GT3Tek had been more responsive and provided some type of reasonable explanation to their customer in a timely manner, like "we've had an issue with one of our suppliers that provides us with raw materials and are behind on our production schedule - we anticipate that it will be X weeks before we're able to ship your order. Because of the unanticipated delay we understand if you would like to cancel your order. Please let us know if you'd like to cancel for an immediate full refund or leave the order in process with the new ship date. Thank you for your understanding and again we apologize."

Follow up to my post, I did just receive my front lip from GT3Tek. I was never told it was even shipped, so again confirming really poor communication. But the product arrived and looks to be good quality.
i'm very surprised, until 2 years ago last time i dealt with them they were great at communication

As far as my wanting an "immediate refund". No, I just want the refund that they promised on August 31st and have yet to deliver. Here's an excerpt from their own email and their own words.
Oh and as far as my ruining their reputation, no need for that since they've done that all by themselves. Anyway, next time you're over their way and being that your seem to be their staunch champion, give them a hug and tell them to send me my money.

I changed the title of the thread as I thought it was an unfair characterization...members cannot make such a change...however, I am concerned that this member doesn't know if he has been refunfpded...are you waiting for your statement? Please call your cc company and determine if your account has a credit back or not and let me know. Thanks
I know that you intervened and spoke to them a couple of weeks ago at which time you basically told them to process the refund immediately and for that my sincere gratitude. However, it seems that they listen to you as much as they do me.
I m also aware they must have done it because ur original title was over-blown

or partial refund for over-charged shipping?
Have u received the item?
If not, why not just deal with ur cc company and go on with life?
Member Astur...the community manager for 6SOL has emailed the vendor in regards to your refund...I hope this will get you some action...I apologize that this has been handled so poorly
