Trouble With Climate Control Reassembly
I installed new climate control temp and fan switches in my 997.1 Turbo to replace my peeling ones, but am having trouble getting them to work properly. I have everything back in place correctly (I think), but the switches no longer have any tension to them like they did before I took the climate control unit apart.
They do not spring back to the center position after being pressed one way or the other, and feel loose in their housing. What am I missing here that I should be doing to get the switches to rock back and forth like they should?

They are the climarepair V3. I purchased them in November. Had I known the new ones would be released after, I would have waited. That being said, they look alright. I just can’t seem to get them to work properly. I don’t think it’s the buttons themselves causing the issue, but who knows.

The Climarepair v2 ones I installed on one of my 997s has kind of loose, rattly buttons that can also get stuck . I think it has to do with the way the attachment points at the ends of the long arms were manufactured / 3D printed. They're sloppy and a bit misformed. I'm waiting on a set of their Revolution versions to arrive so I can test and review them. I'm hoping they're much nicer than the previous 4 generations.

UPDATE: It has come to my attention that the pegs that go behind the switches are meant to be reinstalled from the FRONT rather that from the back (like the other buttons). I will reinserting them that way when I get home from work, but I suspect that will solve my issue.
