Buying the Piwis diagnostic tool

So where is the best play to buy this? I looked online and there seemed to be a lot of grey market items. I have a 997 GT3 and I installed coilovers and want to turn the PASM notification off, but saw you needed the tool to do it.

Thanks!

A Durametric Pro will do most of what a PIWIS does, but to do coding, like you mentioned, you need the Pro, not the Enthusiast version.

Is there a big price difference between the Durametric Pro and the PIWIS?

A real PIWIS is only available from a Porsche dealer that might have gone out of business and you have to find one of the right generation where it's new enough to work with the 997.1 cars but old enough where it doesn't do a check over the internet for an active software license. A real PIWIS if you can find one is thousands of dollars. A Durametric Pro cable with the free software download from their website is $600-$700 or so and sometimes they're listed for sale in The Marketplace here or on Rennlist.
