used 2005 997

have a buddy of mine that is thinking of getting a 2005 997 white/greyish blue with 3000 miles for $68,000. options include electric seats, cd shuttle, xenons. is this a fair price? it is apparently in flawless condition.

He should pay around $60K for that car, a few thous more if it has full leather.

The original MSRP would have been around $71.5K with those options, unless it has full leather which would have made it $75K new.

The price is too high plus your friend will lose one year on the warranty.

thanks again for all the suggestions. the happy ending to the story is that my friend ended up buying a brand new 2006 997 silver/black with xenons, electric seats, heated seats, self dimming mirrors in a six speed for $6,000 off the msrp. i think it was a good deal.
