was at my local dealer this weekend looking to trade the Boxster S in on a 997 S Cab sticker on the car was 113K dealer was going to let it go for 110K.

Is this a fair price or are there better deals to be had?

Do not settle for a $3K discount. There are more cabs than coupes in dealer inventories, an outgoing 06 model with $113K MSRP you should be able to get for around $10K off. Stand firm, they'll do it. If not today, go back on July 31st. The last day of month dealers are highly motivated.

I got a 10% discount on my new C2S Cab at Reeves in Tampa. Actually all the Tampa area dealers were doing huge discounts. My car was not even in stock and is being trucked in.

 

7% on 2007 orders, 10+% on 2006 stock.

Which one? I can give you 2 names for the 2007 orders. Someone on Rennlist is claiming 10-12k off 2006 stock at Rector Porsche, but I have not had anyone actually report it reliably. The 10% is an estimate, but seems reasonable given the 2007 discounts.
