What's your opinion on these lease deals?

A colleague of mine asked my opinion on the following:
Lease either (he was given the following figures)
2007 M6 MSRP 106,000 36/12 3,000 out of pocket 1,900 month...or
2007 Carrera S, aero kit, MSRP 100,400 36/12, 2,940 o.o.p 1,657 month

Since car is a daily drive I said I would get the M6. $250.00 negligible at these numbers. Just curious what everyone on the forum thinks.

I'm not an expert on lease deals but probably I'd go for the Porsche...you get a more special car for less $ per month!
And the lease will take less time than BMW's one...just my opinion

Likemystoppie? is infamous around these parts
most important questions are:

1) what's the selling price of the car?
2) what's the money factor (lease interest rate) that they're quoting?

Just spitting out a lease payment is arbitrary w/o knowing these two factors in order for a proper answer.

Lease deals are contingent on three things. Price of vehicle, residual value of vehicle, mileage. The trick is to get the car at its highest residual value point. I used to think that leasing a used car with less equipment would be cheaper, but I found out that's not the case. Be sure to try and get the dealer to knock a few of the MSRP.

Good Luck

M6 is more of a daily driver. I have owned 5 BMW's and 2 p-cars. For what ever reason, I drove my BMW's and I wax my p-cars. Best of luck with your decision!

Hands down get the Porsche. I'de choose many less expensive cars over the M6. The Porsche gets my vote over cars that cost much more.

That is why I recommended the Porsche. Too many opinions i think are coming from the heart ,not the brain. A neighbor has a c2s with aero. It is so low to the ground. Scratches everwhere. For a daily driver going to work, the gym, cleaners, grocery store, wendy's drive-thru, church, synogogue . rain ,snow, winter, fall etc... the porsche with the aero is just not practicle.
CAN it be driven everyday, sure it could..heck i could drive my Viper everday but it will punish the heck out of me.

P.S. I should mention he lives in the northeast
