I respect what he's trying to do, but it is a little too much. What I want to know is how he got the RS rear bumper to fit on a narrow body 997?

Outside the box. Cayenne thanks for starting this thread. It is great to see owners having fun. Take off the stickers and game over for this car.

Aloha

unless this car is a C4/C4S otherwise u can't bolt the widebody lower side skirts on a narrowbody car. so my guess is this is a widebody car.

This is a trend I've noticed in the Euro mags. Modify your car and end up with a look-a-like that is neither fish nor fowl. Usually a newer, standard model is "converted" to look like an icon from the past ie: a 964 becomes a 930 ducktail, etc. Makes no real sense to me when I see it there and even less sense when both cars are current models, as you have here.

Different strokes, for different folks.

I too agree with the removal of badges idea.

I agree beside take off the stickers also the rear GT3RS badge too.
Too bad! I can see the body shop did a great job, to make all those parts fit.

tell your friend he is a poser LOL!
Come on are we all so insecure we can't be proud of a nice C2 anymore?
What would be the big deal about doing just the wheels, nose, and wing?
That would be great looking but to add the decals and rear logo of what it is soooo not................. LAME
