i just got my iforged senekas and they were supposed to drill them for the sensors and of course they didn't, my tire shop banded the sensors but three have come loose and have caused the balance to shift. does anyone know of the best way to fix this at this point???

 

just have them drilled locally

 

send the wheels back to iforged..

 

I agree - as difficult as it might be, you shouldn't have accepted the wheels if they weren't to your specs.

 

I didn't even know until they mounted the wheels. the tire shop just went ahead and banded them. they said it would be fine. well I think at this point they would not say that again. they have had to break down all four tires to reband the sensors.. does anyone know of a local shop in tampa that can drill for the sensors??

 

i have always been concerned with banding sensors in these low profile tires. it doesn't take much to damage them, at least i was told.

 

Actually, the sensors seem pretty tough. I had two loose and rolling around for a whole week and they still function fine. Just so everyone knows, DO NOT SETTLE for banding on porsche's. Our sensors are designed different than others and are harder to band. Hope this helps
