Update On My Iforged Wheels

Ok, so I finally took the Iforged off and put the stock wheels back on. I have my smoothe ride again. I had the wheel shop I bought them through put them on the machine to check runout. Two were bad!!! I only put these on for a month and never got them to stay balanced so I guess I know why. The wheel shop is trying to contact Iforged and try to resolve the issue. I can't believe brand new wheels would cause this many problems, not to mention I've spent almost 500.00 mounting, dismounting, and re-balancing tires and wheels for the last 4 weeks. Make sure when any of you buy wheels to put them on a machine and have them checked before they are put on your car. I just hope I can get this handled before the new body style comes out for the carrera s. Oh, if Vince from Iforged is reading this please call Frankie from coast to coast. He has left a message for a call back.

i don't know why people buy iforged in teh first place. it's a low quality wheel w/ 0 motorsport R&D attached to its name.

stick with OZ, BBS, Fikse, Work, etc.

I wanted to buy a set of iForged and was talked out of it by a dealer. This particular dealer knows how picky I am and didn't want the headache of dealing with me if iForged screwed up in any way. That was the last straw for me. I've heard of problems throught out the years but when dealers start dissuading customers from a brand, that's when it's time to run and hide....and tell everyone else to do the same.

Don't buy iForged.

Shame too, they have some nice looking wheels. Maybe they will improve when people stop buying them.

Quote from Vince of iForge:
"Stupid idiot! I'm laughing my *** off all the way to the bank!"

'nuff said.

I thought about iforge in the past because of that, they do have nice looking wheels, but I guess this is another case of caveat emptor.

It seems every forum reports multiple problems with IForged, with owners always wanting to get them "refinished."
