alright American Muscle guys and gals, let's see them!

seems like there are alot of past and present American Muscle owners coming through, so let's see those beautiful machines. I'll dig up some pics of my 2 once I'm out of work

Markus, very nice '66! Do you show it at the Knott's Berry Farm show by chance?

here's my 2000 GT. Pic's a few weeks now. I just did the Mach 1 grille delete and swapped to Cobra brakes in the front (13" setup)

and I don't have a pic of the Falcon. I bought sight unseen while I was in Iraq. I see her for the 1st time this weekend, in her stripped, hacked and sand-blasted state. Here's a pic of a similiar '62 I pulled off another site though.

still haven't decided the route to go with her either. I am leaning towards pro-street-ish 347, Tremec 5-speed, suspension, brakes and killer wheels and paint

FNG here. Here's some of my junk:

'83 T-Bird 331/AOD/8.8 w3:73s. This picture is a scan because the car is apart right now. I'm doing a five lug conversion with Cobra brakes and 18 inch Bullitt replicas.

This one you've probably already seen. '72 Mach 351C/FMX/9" w 3:50s

'94 GT Conv. 5.0/T-5/8.8 - Bone Stock with 9000 original miles.

And my latest project. This is actually my first car, bought for me for $350.00 by my late father. It didn't look much better than this when I drove it to school, but it means everything to me. It's been sitting for 25 years. Now I'm going to restore it to MCA Gold status...every nut and bolt.

Got some other junk too, but this'll do it for now.

Hey Fastback, I really like your 94 gt. That's probably the cleanest one I've ever seen. Have you owned it since new or did you purchase it from someone? What did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Poisoned Pony Dec 3, 2007 08:30 PM

That's a well stocked line-up you have Fastback. Love that all original '94 GT and that '65(?) Fastback. That restoration will be pretty interesting. Have you shown the '94 GT?

Fastback Dec 3, 2007 08:33 PM

Thank you. I bought the '94 new. I ordered it before they were even released. I happen to have the sticker right here...$25,295.

Yeah, Poison Pony, the fastback restoration will be interesting. The car needs absolutely very part you can think of. I can't do the structural repairs to the shell myself, so I took it to Glazier's Mustang Barn in PA for that stage. They spent the best part of the first week deciding how to begin the work without the car breaking in half. Fred Glazier has been in business for 30 years and he says it's the worst one they've ever done. If it was any other car, I'd scrap it...but it's my first car and my father gave it to me. How many other guys my age can say they still have their first car?

What are your are your plans for the 94 GT? I'm assuming keeping it for a long time untouched.
It's funny only fords have been posted so far.

I don't know what my plans are. I bought it to drive, but ended up showing it instead. I won a bunch of MCA awards with it, but then stopped showing it in 2001. Since then, I take it out for a run every once in a while. It's 100% stock and perfect; original tires, brakes, wires, hoses, everything. I even put the original air filter away for the future. I don't know why. I don't think the car will ever be worth a lot of money. I just like it.
