As a Mustang, it's not bad looking but for a show such as Knight Rider, you'd think they'd get a little more "exotic". A Ford GT, Viper or even a Vette (keeping with an American car theme)... anything but "yet-another-sedan". The original Trans-am was OK for it's time but even then, I think a Corvette would of been better. I guess I kinda compare it to a James Bond theme where "Q" could make any car an offensive weapons vehicle :)

Face it, Ford and the other former big 3 are getting their asses handed to them on a silver platter and Ford is getting into the "exposure" thing. Think about it: first they sign on Carroll Shelby, the put a Mustang in Transformer, now this. Ford is pulling out all the stops and Mr. Shelby is likely at the center of their universe right now. Expect to see more of his Mustang/Shelby's in other media lights in the future.

I don't remember a mustang in Transformers, were you thinking of the Camaro (bumblebee)?
