Hey, new member.. here's my Vette

Hey guys, just signed up to the site. I've been over on CF for a while now with my Vette. Here she is:

I dunno.. a corvette's a corvette a corvette and I'm sure you guys have seen a million of 'em. I got the car in November of last year.. the previous owner had the stereo upgraded (I know nothing about stereos.. it has an Arc Audio amp, sub and speakers and a JVC head unit with nav), put Borla Quad Stingers on and added the K40 Radar Detector/Laser Jammer. The car was in great condition and low miles, so I purchased it.

So far I've painted the rear lower fascia (actually didn't come out how I wanted, so I'll be redoing that soon), added the front license plate air intake, switched the front turn signals to switchback leds and have a Hurst shifter in delivery.

The paint has some nicks in it from the highways, so I think my next route will be getting them fixed. The car itself is solid though and is a blast to drive.

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself.

Roy

Welcome to the forums. You have a very sick vette! Looks like it's kept in good condition, what year is it?

Thanks, I do my best to keep her shiny. It's a 2000 MN6.

I need to redetail her this weekend though.. I'd like to attempt polishing the paint. I spent about 6.5 hours 2 weekends ago claybarring/waxing and it didn't come out how I wanted it to.

The hard time spent detailing clearly shows that you know what your doing. Keep doing what you do, once again, sick vette!!

Good looking white C5. The plates crack me up, you should use that as your site name.
