This is my daily driver. It makes 605 rw hp and 628 rw tq on 93 octane through the factory rear mufflers. It has run 11.5 @ 128 mph on it's Michelin PS2 street tires and 11.0 @ 130 mph on 20 inch drag radials. It also ran 185 mph at the Texas Mile last October.

It's crazy to think a Cadillac daily driver can get up to 185mph hats off to that !

What a great Caddy. And some serious performance to back up the looks.

I thought Caddy lists the regular CTS-V with a TS of 191 ? A friend of mine hear has one and that's the number he's always throwing at me...

11 flat at 130 mph is simply awesome! i love the CTS-V, it is the ultimate sleeper..............can you imagine standing around the water cooler telling your co-workers you just got your a$$ handed to you by a Cadillac!

Official top speed is 193 for the manual and 175 for the autos according to Caddy.

OK, I guess the OP car may have run out of room since it's only 1 mile ...
It is up 50 HP over a stock car, so either it's a manual running out of room or an auto in a hurry...

Top speed off most cars usually isn't achieved within a mile, I think it's usually somewhere between the 2-3 mile mark.

A lot of people don't give this car props but I would drive it. I like it's unique styling and the power is there. It's different, sporty, luxurious and fast....what else you need!

I sat in one at the dealer and the interior certainly wasn't what I was expecting to see from Cadillac. The seats impressed me right off the bat. I thought the back seat was a little tight for me (6'3") but other than that this isn't a car to be underestimated, Cadillac did their homework on this one, and the end result is an incredible vehicle for a great value.

UMADBRO Feb 6, 2010 05:24 PM

Are you talking about the Recaro optioned seats? I would definitely pay the extra for those seats and media/audio package!

HennesseyPerformance Feb 6, 2010 10:07 PM

The stock CTS-V runs 157 mph in the mile. Since mine ran 28 mph faster, does that mean mine has a top speed of 219? I dont think so. But I would guess it would go 205-210 mph.
