Vette vehicle purchase decision, need help...

Well i finally narrowed my search down to two c6 widebody cars. First is an 07 yellow carbon widebody twin turbo, the second a Jetstream blue carbon wideboy supercharged. Car will be a semi-dd, mostly drove on weekends and at the strip.

Nice cars, but why do you want a modded by someone else base car? I'd just get a few year old Z06 I think for that cash.

Maybe he wants a car that the roof comes off of? And either of these cars is on a different level to a stock Z06 performance wise.

That could be a good reason. And well aware of your other point, but only in a straight line most likely. Also added on parts by a unknown third party isn't always good.

A Z06 still will have a better chassis....just IMO since you can get a pretty nice Z for 50K.

If I remeber, the JSB isn't a 3LT - I think you'll reget not having HUD.

The Yellow car by far, the APS TT kit has plenty of headroom if you decide to take the motor further. Plus you can run an on demand meth injection system and be able to change the boost on the fly and up the boost on race gas easily.

I agree the Z06 has the better chassis, but the same reason I bought my modified C5 over a C5 Z06 would be the same reason I would pick the yellow car over a C6 Z06.

Ive decided on the yellow one. For the asking price its a lot for the money, and the fact that most of my racing is in a straight line.

This is ar performances shop car, and from what ive read on other forums the work is top notch. Ive talked to the tuner, and he said that the car is sitting right on 650whp right now, and the fuel system/turbo kit is good for over 1000whp, shortblock being the limiting factor. He is installing the factory seats back in it also and keeping the brides. The only thing im really going to upgrade is the braking system and maybe some lightweight wheels.

And the only z06's ive seen for 37-39k have been 06's with a TON of miles and bone stock. Im a college student, had to save up for awhile to get this, and now most of the work is done. Great starting point for what im wanting to achieve

Well good luck dude, post some pics of you pic it up.
I hope your college is paid for if your buying this, not student loans. Don't get yourself in a hole right after college bro.
