How would a blown 5.0 be better than the current al block blown 5.4?

I personally would like to see an al block dohc n/a 6.2 go into the gt500. 550 to 600 horses at crank should be no problem....after a n/a 5.4 dohc has already produced 593rwhp.

 

I said that wrong, I would love to see a 5.0 in the Ecoboost format with DI and twin turbo's. Me personally I would love to see the 6.2 2V stroked to 427 ci and get 4V heads but that would make way more power than they need!

 

Isn't that the point?

 

Looking forward to what the tuners can come up with after they learn what works and what doesn't on this beast.

 

Ford really hit a home run with this motor. But man did they hike up the prices.
