Dad's new toy: 2012 Charger SRT8
4 Attachment(s)
Taking a page from my book and going with a sedan, my dad just got a Charger. He traded a 2009 SRT8 Challenger 6-sp manual for it. I drove it briefly and didn't do much as it only had 50 miles. The interior is excellent and up to par on a car now costing 50K. Performance/driving dynamic is not world's apart from my car, as I didn't think it would be. Exterior looks are subjective and I'm more a fan of what I own. I do think I'm going to check out the SRT8 300 after the winter. Some pic's below...

Nice ride! Congrats to Dad on the new whip! I was checking out the SRT8 charger, the 300 and Jeep @ the SEMA show this week and they look good. Interiors are very nice. Dig the carbon fiber trim they are putting in.

Very nice. not sure on the new wheels though. I prefer the older ones.

I think the new one looks better everywhere except the wheels. Just paint the stockers black with a red stripe like yours and your dads car will look even better. I love how he chose the red leather too. That interior is BEAUTIFULL. Its a shame they missed the boat and dont offer a manual transmission though. They should also offer a manual on the R/T IMO.

I agree and there's plenty of time. Since the Challenger was mated with a 6-M, it shouldn't be too hard. I'd be surprised if the 5-A is the only transmission that exists through this model run.

I'd like to know if he is still loving the car after a little time.....I'm looking at these now.
