My boss's TT Wide body C5

It’s on the lift right now because we are fitting an air-ride suspension to it so the front end of the car can be raised when pulling in to parking lots and driveways. I was wondering if anyone else had done something similar. Anyway here are few pics of the car.

The body was designed by John Lingenfelter using a GM wind tunnel. I'll see if I can get our photographer to go back to the engineering building with me and take some under hood pics.

Nice ride. LPE does some awesome stuff, though I've heard their shop is a bit of a joke haha.

I've never seen anyone go with an air ride setup on a 'vette. You can check out ls1tech.com if you need any info on that. There might be somebody over there thats been through it before.

My friends F50 demonstrated the ability to raise the front for "scrape prevention" I do not know if it is an air kit or not.

As for the vette this is a first for me seeing this applied to a corvette. What kind of motor work and TT is it. Do you know what he will put to the ground (rwhp)?

And the body kit is my humble opinion less than desirable.

Thanks for sharing

I like the sides and the rear, but not sure about the front bumper.

Regarding the air suspension set up. I would check out corvetteforum.com.

Details on the motor/turbos?

BAD ASS TA WS6 Sep 16, 2007 01:48 AM

If I were to guess, it's a sleeved LS6 block @ 427CI.

For what it's worth, the car and body kit look MUCH better with the car on the ground. I agree it looks a little funky up on the lift.

Headlights are just LPE designed, nothing special there.

Turbos are either T28s, or GT30s. Not exactly sure there, could also be different. They have a variety of packages/power levels if I recall.

kumar75150 Sep 16, 2007 05:00 AM

With that body kit and twin turbos, it should be capable of well over 200mph.
