Arrow Newbie to this Forum - 1989 Mustang (The Speed Demon Project)

How rude of me for posting a thread before I introduced myself, my apologies for doing that (Here's that thread:https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ferrerid=15215).

My story:
In 1989 I bought my one and only Mustang, a GT White on Grey 5-speed brand new. First week I changed springs and wheels, and then from there I have pushed the envelope with it within my budget. I even had it with me in England for a couple of years and that was fun. But once back in California I installed a Paxton S/C, heads, headers, etc. Then I was the first person to install a Paxton NOVI 2000 on a streeet driven car and used the cog belt setup. Even with a 9lb pulley the car pulled like nothing else. I showed the car throughout California, won some awards, even got into 5.0 Mustang in February 1998 under the heading 'Beast of Burnin'. But then a few years back the 5.0 engine gave up and so I started a new project.

The new project consists of a 351W that has been massaged to run the same S/C but with a 12lb pulley. Heads have been re-worked a lot. Behind it is a WC 5-speed and then a beefed-up 8.8. OK before I go any further, the build is not for drag racing, it is for road racing but primarily it is being built for the Silver State run so some of this stuff is not going to hold-up under drag racing situations and I know that. Suspension has been modified, brakes upgraded to 13" Baer system 5-lug all around, full cage, Sparco Pro 2000 seats with harnesses, and the list goes on. The project is still in progress but going very slow nowadays due to work and other obligations that have changed in my life over the past several years. At this moment I am close to getting it running and I cannot wait to do so either, just got to find the time which is limited

Not sure if this Forum is a place for technical advice for my specific car, and if not any links to Mustang forums that do is greatly appreciated because I have many questions as I get closer to the end.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and here are some pics (more can be found using the link to my website in my signature block below with more detailed information about what I have done to it):

Note: the wheels on the car in this picture are not the ones I will be running

These are the wheels

Good too see another foxbody on this site! Yours is a hell of a lot cleaner than mine, and faster too! (mines still mostly stock). What kind of booster/MC are you running to accomodate those baers?? If you havent been there, www.stangnet.com has probably the best forum around. turbomustangs.com is good for forced induction info, and corral.net is also a really good mustang forum. I'm curious to see how long that WC tranny holds up behind a blown windsor Keep us posted lol
