New SLK

I saw the new SLK here in Brussels for the first time. It's a much better, more aggresive looking car than in the past. Although I wonder how well the trendy Formula 1 look age.

I'm not sure of the weight, but I believe the horsepower is very good. May end up being a pretty good seller.

Are these out in the States already?

Unfortunately, that it's a 'chick' ride will make the moral defeat of it blowing the doors off a 996na all the more demoralizing.

Believe me, I've always felt that they fall in the 'chick' ride class. But MB seems to start to be putting some serious muscle into their cars lately.

And yes, yes, I know there's no comparison on the track, yada, yada, yada. So for the 2% of Porsche owners that track their cars they'll have the final laugh.

Indeed the SLK55 is going to be a sweet ride, there is no doubt about that. Don't forget it's just a mini-SL

It really looks hot and I'm sure it's gonna be hella fast...I think they used it at the Monaco F1 race as a saftey car if I remember correctly.
