Early American muscle

Here are some early American Muscle cars shot at the St Michael's Concours d'Elegance. The first one is a 29 Duesenberg that was peiced together from a duesy chassis, a duesy motor found in a California hot rod and a body designed by Northport and built by some boat builders out on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. A spectacular car in person.

regards

I was invited to a private showing of a collection this past weekend and that Duesy was there. What a car. Its a 1929 Duesenberg J. The owner found the chassis, then located a duesy motor in a California hot rod, then commissioned Mr Northport (former designer for Duesenburg) to design the body, then commissioned some local boatbuilders to complete the car. It is mahagony wood finished to perfection. The car won its class at Pebble Beach a few years ago.
