Position:
Porsche Technician/Tuner

Minimum 5-7 years of experiance (factory training) or equivalent.
Candidate should be a team player and Porsche enthusaist who can work in a fast paced enviorment and easily adapt to a changing pace.

Racing and fabrication skills a plus.
Tig and Mig Welding: Sheet metal work.

Understanding of turbo systems and dyno operation a plus.


Duties incldues all aspects of service and repair for late model Porsche cars
1997 and later (993). (1980's and early 90's experiance a plus) Inlcuding
Performance tuning and modifications of street cars.
70% of cars will be 996TT-GT3 and GT2- Cayenne TT and Carrera GT.

Candidate should be familiar and fluent with the Porsche Factory Systems tester and PWIS testers.
Computer savy
Thorough understanding of Bosch ME functions and controls.
Diagnostic
Troubleshooting
Driveability
Electrical repairs
Gearbox rebuilding
Engine rebuilding
Fuel Systems


Performance tuning (performance parts) installation a plus.
Alignments
A/C Service work




Modern fully equipped shop Located in Orange County Ca in the #1 Porsche Market Place in the USA.

Experiance with Audi and Mercedes a plus.

Relocation assistance for qualified individual from anywhere in the USA or abroad available. Assistance with VISA and immigration

Involvement in the 2008 Speed GT Racing program available.

 

I wish I was qualified

 

I have a guy who is the #1 Porsche mechanic in Dallas at one of the dealerships ... I'll pass this info along to him but I do believe he gets paid really well ... Would a highly qualified mechanic make more money doing custom work with you guys?
