Fuel moving around (knocking sound from front of car)

Fuel moving around (knocking sound from front of car)
Hi all,
I searched around a little, my 997TT is the first Porsche I have owned. I have noticed something that I think is just one of those Porsche things.
(Note: I'm driving a right-hand drive car)
When the fuel tank is say 3/4 or less (1/2 etc) when driving slowly around I had noticed a funny sound coming from the front. By putting my foot on the firewall I can notice a dull thud/knock when driving around.
Eventually worked it out - it was the fuel swishing around in the tank.
Anyone else notice that? is it just a Porsche thing?
