To HRE Guy & others,
I have looked at lots of wheels and have decided I like HRE's the best.
I'm leaning toward the 890R, my second choice the 898R. I think full polish!
I like the cleaner look w/ no perimeter bolts.

I have a 2007 997 S Black 295/30/ZR19 rear, 235/30/ZR19 front

How wide is the lip on the front (8" wheel) & back (11" wheel) ?

Do I need spacers to bring the tire edge out to the fender edge?

Do the 590R series wheels have a wider lip ?

My 590R's have a 3 inch lip in the rear on an 11" wheel. I think they could've gone a little more aggressive since these offsets are based off of the Carrera S wheels.



Porsche has a different wheel available for the car that has a different offset with 305 size tires and the rims are 11.5 inches wide. That may give a bigger lip, but I haven't seen anyone do this yet.

 

Great shot of those 590R's. I like 'em. I love the classic racecar style design reminicent of the BBS but w/ more bling. The 3" lip looks pretty acceptable to me.

I'm happy with the 3 inch lip, but I'd like bigger series tires than the 25's that are on there now.
