Will these 996GT3 wheels work on a 996TT?

I have a 996TT 2004.

Looking at a new set of wheels- Kinesis, K28,
18x8.5 41 offset
18x11 66 offset

These were on a GT3, not sure if they are stock offsets...

Will these work? Spacers required?

TIA for any advice

Adam

The front offset of the GT3 wheels will make them rub on the fender lip. The rears should work.

By my calculation, the front of a stock 8" wheel with a 45mm offset is 57 mm from the face of the hub (8" = 204mm; 204/2=102mm minus the 45mm offset is 57mm)

Looking at these wheels I found, the 8.5" wheel is 216mm, half is 108, minus the 41mm offset is 67mm... so the front of this other wheel will be 10mm or 3/8" further out as compared to my stock wheel. This ain't much. However, I don't have a clue which is why I posted...

On the rears the offset is 66mm versus the 50mm on the stock, so I think this definitely needs a spacer. (Otherwise the wheel will sit 'in' 16mm as compared to stock, right?)

Thx

996 GT3 = Narrow body
996 TT = Wide body
K28's are nice wheels but, don't think these will work w/o spacers at least on the rears. Have seen 996 GT3 OEM style wheels on turbo but different offsets than GT3. These are specific to the turbo.
