Alignment issues on 20" wheels
Alignment issues on 20" wheels
Dearest members,
Hi Members!! Greetings from Singapore. Im a new member here and im so glad to have joined 6speed and learnt so much here, and truth be told, i've since contracted the most deadly and incurable "mod virus"
First Mod.. (need help)
I will be running on 20" HRE P43 on my White 997TT in couple of weeks. 245/30/20 325/25/20. F9" R12". Nitto Invo or Michellin PS2.
Ive seen a thread by Alpine997 on "twitchyness" and alignment specs sometime back. And since our cars are the same, i'd most probably experience the same problem right?
It was mentioned that Alpine997 rectified the issue by adjusting the toe alignment spec to 0 from 15, GT3 spec, does that mean changing everything to GT3 setup? or just the toe only?
What if im not lowering the springs? Would i face the same problem?
Roads in Singapore are full of "humps" wherever u go.. My front split has already been scraped a few times. And also, 20" on Porsches are rare in Singapore.. and very few Porsche tuners too, definitey not as high profile as the tuners you guys have in States.. lucky you.
Im new to the Porsche family so im hoping some of you guys here could help me out. Thanks!!
Ron
