Coachbuilt Karvajal Designs ZX-1 C6 Corvette
Newly formed coachbuilder Karvajal Designs has made a big splash with its inaugural custom-designed Corvette presented at the New York Auto Show today. The company plans to offer several hand-built packages for the C6 Corvette including a range topping version equipped with a 560hp supercharged LS2 V8 churning out 529 lb-ft of torque and sporting an aggressive 82in widebody kit (almost 10in up on the stock model).
These renderings show one possible look for the car but several show cars with slightly toned down styled were unveiled at the New York event. The show cars feature side mounted cooling vents, new bumpers, and a completely revised rear-end with unique taillights and exhaust ports. Other features include 13in wide tires, a custom dual exhaust system and full leather trim.

I love the interior but the rest of the car looks like a bunch of cobbled together rubbish. The view from the back on the red car looks like they were trying to emulate the Carrera GT but couldn't get it quite right.
loved the car until you showed the back. the picture at the very top of this page, if representative, is probably worth owning. why would I buy this car, though, only to get BLOWN away by a stock turbo porsche, though? it seems to me that since this car won't be driven (it's !#$%!$ rolling art) why is the manufacturer not running 600-700hp which is pretty easy to do with a motor the size of the one in the Vette?
if they fix the back of the car, and REALLY do some production on the one featured @ the top, Lamborghingi would perhaps have a challenge to its Murcielago, but your STOCK LP640 puts out just as much horsepower and does around 220mph. better get the power up to a respectable level if they want any business. Consider that the CCX's do well because they're MUCH FASTER and have very HIGH HORSEPOWER along with decent looks.
