red light cameras tickets

so my friend got one of these in beverly hills, i thought i heard somewhere that these were not allowed anymore... anyway to fight it successfully? thanks.

Yeah. No way out. I even talked to a lawyer and they are pretty hard to fight against. If you can go to traffic school, just do it. When i got caught by the camera, i was able to watch a video as well of my car aproaching the intersection.

Worst thing is, I got it for making a right on a red without full stop. They said they trigger the camera and video recording if the camera senses that you are approaching the intersection at 15mph+.

The only chance you have is where some camera's have the yellow light set for a time that is below state minimums for time before changing to red. There has been a lot of discussion about this issue. Other than that, not a lot of hope of getting out of it....It would be interesting to time the yellow light in surrounding intersections and see if the one with the camera is a shorter period of time.

if they got your face, you are SOL. if face can't be recognized, you have a chance.

you may want to invest in some of that spray can stuff. works in night time (not in day).
