My first trackday
A track day with SupraClubSweden (14 supras, one Gallardo, one 997gt3 and a 996 c2)
This tuesday I did my first trackda ever(exepct 10 not so serious laps in my Porsche 964) at Mantorp Park in Sweden. It was realy funny and now I think I have got the bug
. Just need to upgrade my rotors to Brembo and some good pads now.
Heres a little video clip from that day, It's me in the wingless black supra (hitting the revlimiter quite alot, have to raise my revlimiter to 8000rpm until next time) Theres a decibel meter at the end of the strait that's why we couldn't floor it all the way. I passed alot of cars incl a Gallardo and wheren't overtanken by any car so I was realy pleased with the day.
The incar part is not from my car. I will mount a camera inside my car next time...

Supras are not really easy to drive or friendly on the track. Leh Keen used on in One Lap of America last year and did quite well but he is just stupid skilled.
Congrats on your first time out and welcome to the club. Its a blast!
Stay safe and get your brakes squared away and don't fret over the rev limiter too much. Just shift. It's not worth bending up the motor to save 1/4 second a lap.
