Not sure why this forum has such draconian rules about posting replies...as I have less than 10 posts, it would not allow me to reply to the post called LA Cops, about the huge amount of cops out on the streets right now...

Anyway, just this morning my wife told me that she heard on NPR that the CHP has 80% of all cops on duty right now. Also, I believe LAPD is joining this effort with a much higher than normal amount of patrols this weekend.

Nevada Highway patrol's doing the same this holiday weekend. Be careful driving from Vegas to the street line!

 

yeah i saw about 7-10 CHP on ventura on my way for some coffee today. one of them was on my bumper for about 5 mins. if i had stopped with any haste , he woulda hit me . he fianally went around me without any turn signal. gotta love em

 

memorial weekend guys! kicks off the summer! people are driving drunk and doing some stupid stuff, i cant even imagine the police presence on pch tomorrow. have a fun and safe holidays guys!
